How billing works when you add contacts

Your new contact is prorated — you only pay for the remaining days until your next billing date, then it's included in your regular monthly bill.

Example: Your subscription renews on the 1st. You add a Full Contact on the 15th. You pay about $2.50 for the remaining 15 days, then $4.99 is added to your regular bill starting next month.

Using a promo code

Have a promo code? You can enter it at checkout when adding contacts. Look for the "Add promotion code" link on the payment page.

Reducing Your Bill

To reduce your subscription cost, simply delete or archive a contact you no longer need. After removing them, you'll be asked if you want to remove that slot from your bill.

How billing works when you remove contacts

Removals are prorated — you receive a credit for the unused portion of your billing period, which is automatically applied to your next bill.

Example: You remove a $4.99 Full Contact halfway through your billing cycle. You'll see about a $2.50 credit on your next bill.
Tip: Reassigning a slot
If you want to switch who you're calling (for example, from Mom to Dad), just edit the contact instead of deleting. Changing a contact's name or phone number doesn't affect your billing.

Managing Your Payment Method

To update your credit card or view invoices:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Billing & payment
  3. In the billing portal, you can:
    • Update your credit card
    • Add a backup payment method
    • View past invoices
    • Update your billing address

Cancelling Your Subscription

To cancel:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap Billing & payment
  3. Click Cancel subscription

Common Questions

When am I billed?

You're billed monthly on the anniversary of your signup date. All add-ons are aligned to this same date, so you have one simple bill.

Can I get a refund?

We don't offer refunds, but you can cancel anytime and your service continues until the end of your billing period. Removing contacts gives you prorated credit toward future bills.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

I have a promo code. Where do I enter it?

Promo codes can be entered at checkout when subscribing or adding contacts. Look for "Add promotion code" on the payment page.
