Touchbase is built on one idea: the people who matter most to you shouldn't need to download an app to stay connected. They just need to answer the phone.
Here's how it works, from start to finish.
You set it up. They just answer.
You sign in to Touchbase, add your loved one's name and phone number, and choose what kind of check-ins you'd like them to receive. That's the only setup. Your loved one doesn't need an account, a smartphone, or any technical knowledge at all.
Step 1
Choose the check-in type
Morning Messenger, Evening Wind-down, Daily Routine reminders, or a custom message for birthdays and special occasions.
Step 2
Pick a time
Set the time you'd like the call to go out. Every day, same time. You can also set "silent days" if they prefer no calls on weekends.
Step 3
The phone rings
Touchbase calls them with a warm greeting, the local weather, and a quick question โ like "How did you sleep?" They press a number to rate it, and can leave a short voice message about their plans for the day.
Step 4
You see the results
Their response shows up in your Touchbase dashboard โ sleep rating, day rating, voice transcription, and even topics they mentioned. No guessing. Real data, every day.
What a morning call sounds like
The phone rings. A friendly voice says:
"Good morning, Helen! This is Touchbase dot life calling. Today is Tuesday, February 4th. In Madison, it's 28 degrees and partly cloudy โ bundle up if you're heading out! How did you sleep last night? Press 1 for poor, 5 for great."
Helen presses 4. The voice continues:
"That's good to hear! After the beep, tell us a little about your plans for today."
Helen says: "I'm going to the store this morning, then having lunch with my friend Carol."
That's it. The whole call takes about 90 seconds. And now you know: she slept well, she's getting out, and she's seeing friends. All without asking.
What you see
In your dashboard, Helen's morning shows up as a conversation โ what Touchbase said (the greeting and weather) on the left, and what she said back (her sleep rating and voice message) on the right. Topics like "errands," "friends," and "meals" are automatically tagged from her message.
Over the week, you see patterns. Her weekly insights card tells you: "Helen answered 14 of 14 check-ins. Sleeping well (4.2/5). Mentioned: errands, friends, cooking."
Evening check-ins too
The Evening Wind-down is a quieter call. A moment of calm music, then a simple question: "How was your day?" They rate it, and can share a short reflection. It's a nice way to bookend the day.
No apps. No friction. Just connection.
That's Touchbase. You set it up once, and it runs every day. Your loved one picks up the phone. You see how they're doing. Everyone sleeps a little better at night.
